Louis-Jean Germain, Meng, LLM, FCIArb
Founder and directing manager of Joyan Consulting (since mid-2023).
Has over 17 years of experience in contracts, scheduling, risks, cost control, estimating, and claims with EPC contractors for the engineering and construction of energy plants.
Has worked for Technip, JGC and Fluor. Has held positions as contract manager, subcontracts manager, cost control manager, claims director and in-house counsel.
Was involved in two mega oil and gas EPC projects (Yamal LNG and LNG Canada, circa 20 billion USD each).
Holds dual master’s degrees in engineering and law.
Is a Fellow of CIArb (FCIArb). Has expertise in various forms of contract, including IChemE and FIDIC. Is a FIDIC certified adjudicator, and forms part of the list of dispute board members of IChemE.
